This is why I'm hot.

How I bought an Adidas backpack, $100 training shoes, 2 tank tops and flip-flops for my girlfriend, and 4 pairs of flip-flops for myself, all for less than the retail price of the shoes. Although this may not do much for many, this gets me very excited.

$290 - retail value of products
$18.00 - shipping
$3.83 - tax

$311.83 - how much someone should pay

**********************

Jon paid
$91.91 - clearance prices
$3.83 - tax
$18.00 - shipping
-$15.00 - coupon code (see slickdeals.net)
-$18.00 - free shipping for orders over $75 (order was $76.91)

$80.74
-4% cash back for using credit card online at finish line

net expense: $77.51

net savings: $234.32

so... $60 backpack + $100 shoes, + a whole lot more stuff < $80.

I saw this deal on http://www.slickdeals.net. Check it out for similar, although not always as awesome, deals.

People ask me, "Jon, why do you still use a hole-y backpack?" and "Jon, aren't you ever going to get new flip-flops?" And I just wait. Until I get such a fantabulisticmegarific deal like this and then I answer...

"This is why."
This is why...
This is why I'm hot.

Linsey doesn't admit it, but she thinks my thriftiness is a major turn-on.
