...last blog, we saw that Mr. Touch was in grave danger of some MAce 2da FAce...but "the Gifter" showed up just in time! She knew that offering a fruit basket to the lady was the perfect solution. Because nothing can make someone feel more awkward or instantly indebted to someone like a poorly timed gift. The Lady pulled her finger off the trigger and said thanks... holding a strange look to her face as she walked off into the distance.
Ahh, the gifter. Her keen ability to pick the perfect gift never ceases to amaze the rest of the team of heroes. She is so enthusiastic about giving gifts, she got the rest of the heroes gifts for Martin Luther King Day! She thought this was a great idea, especially right before her birthday... just in case anybody forgot.
"Thanks so much, the Gifter!" Mr. Touch continued, "Oh, and you're just the person I wanted to see. I know it's your birthday tomorrow, and I wanted to be the first to say Happy Birthday!" As he said this, he reached in his pocket and gave her a small envelope.
"Awww, thanks Mr. Touch!" She pries the envelope open to see a $20 gift certificate to bath and body works. "You are kidding me. Are you serious?!? You got ME- a gift certificate... for MY BIRTHDAY?!?!"
She cocks back her right hand, which quickly turns into a fist...
...with old man Mr. Touch quivering in his elastic pants...
What will happen next? Tune in tomorrow...

but the love language of gifts is more about receiving gifts rather than giving them.. haha, cuz i know. the gifter does like to give gifts too, but they feel love through more of receiving gifts too. which you did touch on at the end.. but yeah.. just wanted to put that little smidgim in there, hehe. :)
